Cookie Policy

airporthoteltransfer.com

Last updated: 9 September 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how airporthoteltransfer.com (“we”, “our”, “us”) — an online booking platform acting as a technology intermediary between passengers and independent transport companies — uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website. Our mobile apps are addressed in Section 10.

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function properly, improve performance, and provide insights into user behaviour.

Cookies may be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (stored for a defined period).

2. Types of Cookies We Use

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to function and cannot be switched off.

They are used to:

  • Enable core website functionality
  • Remember your cookie consent choices and language preference
  • Prevent fraud and ensure security

Legal basis: Legitimate interest / contractual necessity
Consent required: ❌ No

2.2 Analytics Cookies

We use analytics tools to understand how visitors use our website.

These cookies collect information such as:

  • Pages visited
  • Time spent on pages
  • Traffic sources
  • Device and browser data

Tools used:

  • Google Analytics — traffic and usage statistics
  • Microsoft Clarity — records anonymised session replays and heatmaps (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling) to help us improve usability; sensitive input fields are masked

Data is collected in an anonymised or pseudonymised form where possible.

Legal basis: Consent
Consent required: ✅ Yes

2.3 Marketing & Advertising Cookies

These cookies are used to deliver relevant advertising and measure campaign performance.

They may:

  • Track conversions
  • Enable remarketing
  • Measure ad effectiveness

Tools used:

  • Google Ads
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram)

These cookies may be set by us or by third-party partners.

Legal basis: Consent
Consent required: ✅ Yes

3. Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to load and control the analytics and advertising tools listed above. Google Tag Manager itself sets no tracking cookies, and it is only loaded after you make a choice in the cookie banner.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are placed by third parties acting as data processors or independent controllers, including:

We do not control these cookies directly. Their use is governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Cookies We Set

  • cc_cookie — our consent tool; stores your cookie choices (6 months) — necessary
  • NEXT_LOCALE — remembers your language preference — necessary
  • _ga — Google Analytics; distinguishes users (2 years) — analytics
  • _gid — Google Analytics; distinguishes users (24 hours) — analytics
  • _clck — Microsoft Clarity; links repeat visits (1 year) — analytics
  • _clsk — Microsoft Clarity; groups a visit into one session recording (24 hours) — analytics
  • _gcl_* — Google Ads; conversion measurement (approx. 90 days) — marketing
  • _fbp — Meta Pixel; ad delivery and measurement (3 months) — marketing

6. Consent Management

When you first visit our website, you are presented with a cookie banner that allows you to:

  • Accept all cookies
  • Reject non-essential cookies
  • Manage cookie preferences per category

Non-essential cookies are only activated after you provide explicit consent, as required by KVKK, GDPR, and UK GDPR.

You may change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent for a category also deletes that category’s cookies from your browser.

7. How to Manage Cookies

You can manage cookies by:

  • Using the Cookie Settings tool linked in the website footer
  • Adjusting your browser settings

Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.

8. Google Consent Mode

We implement Google Consent Mode v2. By default, all consent signals are set to “denied”, and Google tags are only loaded after you make a choice in the cookie banner. If you decline analytics or marketing cookies, the corresponding tags operate without cookies and only limited, aggregate signals are sent.

This ensures:

  • Compliance with KVKK, GDPR, and UK GDPR
  • Respect for user privacy
  • Continued measurement in a privacy-safe manner

9. Data Retention

Cookies are stored for the durations listed in Section 5, depending on their purpose.

We do not retain cookie data longer than necessary.

10. Mobile Apps

Our “Hotel Transfer” apps for iOS and Android do not use cookies, and Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and Meta Pixel are not present in them. The apps can use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics for Firebase for usage analytics, but only after you opt in inside the app (the first-launch question, or More → Usage Analytics). What they collect and how to switch them off is described in Section 6.4 of our Privacy Policy.

Where an app displays pages from our website (for example these legal documents or the Help Center), those pages use only the strictly necessary cookies listed in Section 5: the cookie banner is not shown inside the apps, and analytics or advertising tools are loaded only after a choice is made in that banner.

11. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
