Planning Your COP31 Airport Transfer: A Checklist

COP31 brings thousands of participants to Antalya between 9 and 20 November 2026. A few minutes of planning before you fly makes arrival day simple. Use this checklist to organise your transfer between Antalya Airport, your hotel and the Antalya EXPO Center.

1. Check whether your hotel is on the official shuttle network

According to the UNFCCC, complimentary COP31 shuttles will serve hotels listed on the official COP31 accommodation platform. Look up your hotel on the COP31 transportation map. If it is on the network and your arrival time fits the timetable, the shuttle may cover your daily trips; you may still want a transfer for arrival and departure with luggage.

2. Book early for the busiest days

The days just before the opening on 9 November and right after the closing on 20 November are likely to be the busiest for arrivals and departures. Booking ahead lets you choose your vehicle and pick-up time.

3. Send the details your driver needs

  • Full name of the lead passenger, as it should appear on the welcome sign
  • Flight number and scheduled arrival time
  • Hotel name and address, or the venue if you are going straight there
  • Number of passengers and pieces of luggage
  • A mobile number reachable on arrival, ideally with WhatsApp

4. Choose the right vehicle

Travelling as a delegation, a team or with exhibition material? Share the group size and luggage when you book. A minivan or larger vehicle keeps the group together and avoids splitting into several taxis.

5. Ask for an invoice if you need one

Business travellers and organisations can request an invoice. Add the company name and billing details when you book, so the invoice can be prepared without delay.

6. Plan your departure

Agree your return pick-up time in advance. Allow extra time on the final days of the conference, when many participants leave at once, and check your airline's recommended check-in time.

7. Keep official sources at hand

Accreditation, badges, security and access to the conference zones are handled by the organisers. For the latest arrangements, use the official COP31 travel information and the UNFCCC information for participants.
