Nirvana Cosmopolitan presents itself as a stylish, expansive resort with visually appealing design and a wide array of facilities, yet guest experiences reveal a pattern of significant shortcomings that detract from its five-star promise. Many guests appreciated the quality and variety of food, as well as the polite and attentive service from some staff members, especially in the restaurants. The property’s amenities and activities, however, often come with unexpected additional charges, which is surprising for a resort marketed as "ultra all-inclusive." While some areas, like the main bar, are nicely decorated and welcoming, the overall atmosphere can be inconsistent due to mixed staff attitudes and service quality. Cleanliness and maintenance appear to be recurring issues, with several guests noting that rooms and pool areas did not meet the standards expected of a luxury hotel. Complaints ranged from unclean bathrooms and dusty rooms to poorly maintained pools and rusty slides, as well as concerns about pool safety for children. Family rooms, in particular, were found to be in unsatisfactory condition, and some parents reported unpleasant encounters with kids club staff. Furthermore, the entertainment options, especially for families and children, were described as lacking, and guests were disappointed by the absence of engaging evening programs. Despite the commendable aspects of dining and hospitality from select staff, these positive elements were often overshadowed by inconsistent service, safety issues, and experiences of illness, making it difficult for many guests to recommend Nirvana Cosmopolitan as a true five-star destination.
